The D2 generation Audi A8/S8 sold in the U.S market in extremely limited numbers. Only 2,362 Audi A8’s were sold in the year 2000 – by comparison, Plymouth sold 2,746 Prowlers during the same year. In 2001, only 813 S8 models were sold
